If you are not receiving working links in you email it is probably because your email provider has blocked them. This is something most major email providers do to protect you from spam and emails that could have viruses. In order to allow the images or links, you need to allow them to be viewed. This is an option that should appear at the to of the email. Once you click to allow the images or links, the email should appear as normal.
